Now Completed

This is a painting I'm doing just for fun! I'm playing off my decor: black leather couch, gold pillows and white walls. 

It's inspired by a Chinese screen that we bought in Hong Kong long ago.

Lenore will be teaching an oil painting class at the Florence Art School this year. 

The class is scheduled for May 24, 25 and 26.

Last Summer I was asked to teach Persian Art at our local Florence Art School, and re-experienced, in teaching, the wonderful riches of this type of art; it's history, it's uniqueness, and it's adaptability to so much present day art. 

Seven women spent three days exploring the possible uses of basic Persian design. Here's what they did:
